Among the many advantages of our site, to make your stay as pleasant and happy as possible, Le Paradis offers you a wide range of services and entertainment.
OUR SERVICES
Our reception desk provides you with all the information you need to guide you inside and beyond the campsite and you will also find some local products for sale. Gas bottles are for sale on site. Our snack bar is bright, spacious and glassed-in room offers a panoramic view of the swimming pool and the pond and can offer drinks, chips, pizzas, quiches, croque-monsieurs, various other dishes and rotisseries (to eat on site or take away) and ice creams. Every day fresh bread is baked and pastries ordered the day before. During July and August, we regularly organise theme evenings and/or dances to end your days in a happy and cheerful atmosphere.

- Our private pond, to fish at will, free of charge and without a fishing card, or the Isle, a magnificent river which borders our site, where fishing is permitted with a fishing card.

Services 5 minutes away: At Abzac, Coutras, St Médard de Guizières you will find all shops, supermarkets (Leclerc, Super U, Intermarché, Brico Marché, Weldom…), doctors, pharmacy, and more.
WHERE TO VISIT AROUND OUR SITE
The 12th century church of Abzac, rebuilt in the 19th century, with its mill at the foot of the castle. Adjacent to the dam and the lock, its factory is one of the first to be built in Bordeaux (1778/1782) and has been converted into a cardboard factory since 1927.
5 kms away, the dam of Coutras on the Dronne, has a 12th century Gothic church, a Henri IV’s well from battle remains dating from the 16th century.
3 km from Coutras, Guîtres is crossed by 3 rivers (the Isle, the Lary and the Galostre), dominated by the Isle valley. You will be able to travel back in time aboard steam locomotives (from Guîtres to Marcenais) Not to be missed!
About 10 km away in Saint-Emilion, the wine capital, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the jewel of the region with its rich history and unique architecture. Its tourism office, housed in a former monastery, will guide you to the various curiosities of the city.
10 km further on, you will find Libourne rich in history as well.
45 minutes away, you can visit the Blaye’s citadel of, but also Bourg/Gironde and its troglodyte houses on the way to Médoc’s castles (Margaux, Laffitte…), as well as Bordeaux and Blaye.
Less than an hour’s drive away, the Dordogne and the whole of the Périgord are also within easy reach with their pretty towns such as Périgueux, Sarlat, Brantôme, les Eyzies and the Vézère valley, and many more.
It is difficult to list here all that you can visit in the area around our site as there is so much to see and do. The various Tourism Offices will be able to guide you better than we can, both for the places to visit and for all the services, activities (canoeing, microlight, hot-air balloons…) and animations proposed in this beautiful region of France.
